The OUTNET thing, I’m always a little sus about. Like, discounted designer? Is it, like, *really* discounted? Or are they just selling last season’s leftovers that nobody wanted in the first place? And what’s the catch? Sizes only available in a wonky 5.5 or something? I dunno, it just feels a little…scammy. (Don’t @ me, OUTNET! Just my opinion!)
Then you got FARFETCH. They’re all about “free home pick-up returns,” which is cool, I guess. But, honestly, returning shoes is a pain in the butt, isn’t it? You gotta repackage them, print the label, schlep it to the post office… ugh. Give me a good fit the *first* time, please! And they’re pushing those Vara slip-ons and ballet flats. They’re, like, retro, right? From the 70s. I’m on the fence about those. Are they classic? Or just…old? It depends on the outfit, I guess. Maybe if you’re, like, channeling Audrey Hepburn, they work. But I’m more of a jeans-and-t-shirt kinda gal, so…yeah.
And then there’s the whole “Herrenschuhe” and “Escolha Sapatos Ferragamo da moda masculina” thing. Which basically translates to… men’s shoes, in German and Portuguese respectively. See, it is a bit messy.
