I mean, I’m seeing “saltos” in one ad, so heels are obviously still a THING, even though I personally think they’re medieval torture devices masquerading as fashion. Seriously, who invented those? And why?! I’d rather rock some comfy sneakers any day. (Zappos, you’re my hero with that 365-day return policy!)
But then you see ASOS and REVOLVE throwing all these “latest trends” at you, and suddenly you’re wondering if you *should* be suffering in stilettos after all. Maybe I’m just getting old, or maybe I’m just realizing comfort trumps everything. Though, gotta admit, that “most-coveted designer apparel” stuff on REVOLVE is kinda tempting… but then I see the price tag and I’m like, “Nah, I’m good.”
Speaking of not breaking the bank, there’s always ThredUp, right? Secondhand clothes can be a goldmine! You just gotta be patient and dig through the… um… *interesting* choices sometimes. You know, like that sequined jumpsuit from the 80s that someone clearly wore to every single disco party for a decade. But hey, maybe that’s your style! No judgement here.
And then there’s Temu. Let’s just say… Temu is an experience. You can find, like, *anything* on Temu. I saw someone get a whole wedding dress for, like, $50. I’m not saying it’s gonna be couture quality, but hey, if you’re on a budget… Also, the sizing is… questionable. So, you know, buyer beware.
Oh! And that little blurb about the tube top? “Um dos nossos maiores best sellers agora na versão blusa!” It’s basically just trying to sell a basic tube top. Which, okay, tube tops are cool for summer, I guess. But, like, is that REALLY a “best seller”? Maybe in Brazil? Who knows.
