I was browsing Poshmark the other day, and saw this pre-owned Celine wallet. It had some wear and tear, *naturally*, pre-owned and all. But the kicker? Some artist had gone to town on it. Like, customized it. And while I’m not always a fan of messing with perfection, I gotta admit, it looked pretty cool. A little bit edgy, a little bit unique. It made me think, “Wow, what if *I* could design my own Celine wallet?”
Now, I’m not talking about, like, bedazzling it with rhinestones or anything (though, hey, no judgement if that’s your thing!). I’m thinking more along the lines of… maybe a subtly painted design? Or a monogram in a really cool font? Or even just, like, choosing a super specific shade of leather that’s not usually available.
I saw some ads, too, while I was online. Saks OFF 5TH is doing the Celine thing, and Poshmark’s got its usual treasure trove, but… the thing that really caught my eye was this ad talking about *totally* custom wallets. Like, “personalize your everyday accessory with unique designs and materials to suit your lifestyle.” See, *that* is what I am talking about!
Okay, so, here’s the thing. Finding a *real* custom Celine wallet might be tricky. I’m not sure Celine themselves actually *does* custom orders. It’s possible! But you’d probably have to, like, contact them directly and be prepared to shell out some serious cash. You’re probably better off going the pre-owned route and finding an artist who can customize it for you. There are tons of talented folks on Etsy or Instagram who could totally transform a plain Celine wallet into a work of art.
And okay, yeah, you might be thinking, “But isn’t that, like, ruining a perfectly good Celine wallet?” And maybe it is, a little. But honestly, fashion’s all about self-expression, isn’t it? If you can take something already beautiful and make it even *more* you, then I say go for it! Plus, it’s a great way to give a pre-loved wallet a new lease on life.
Speaking of which, I also saw some chinese article on google talking about wallets. But I can’t read that, so it is not as helpful.
